Yes. The Virtual Aboriginal Wellness Program is completely free, with no cost to participate.

Absolutely. Your privacy is respected at every step. You are given a unique login, and your participation is not shared with anyone else. Many people choose the program because it offers a safe and confidential space to focus on healing.

The program is designed as a four-week journey, with short video sessions offered each weekday. Many people spend about an hour a day, but you are free to move at your own pace. There is no penalty if you take longer or revisit content.

The app offers a wide variety of supports: cultural teachings such as the Seven Sacred Teachings and traditional stories, wellness practices like mindfulness and stress management, recovery stories from NADACA staff, and creative tools like beading or basket weaving. Each is designed to bring encouragement and balance.

Yes. Participants are offered weekly check-in calls with a NADACA counselor. If you’d like more support, you can also be referred to additional cultural or clinical resources. You are not alone in this journey.

That’s okay. The app is flexible and self-paced. You can return to the program whenever you’re ready and revisit content as often as you like. Healing is not a straight line, and the program is here to meet you where you are.

It is not a treatment program but it is a wellness program and is an accredited program under the Canadian Accreditation Council.
